What is Levi’s Trade-In Program?
Levi’s, America’s favorite denim brand, has a sweet deal for you. They’re ready to pay you up to $30 in store credit for your worn-out Levi’s items! The Trade-In program is all about taking back old jeans, shorts, and jackets to either resell or recycle into new products.
How does it work?
Participating in the program is as easy as pie! Simply make an appointment through their website, but keep in mind they only accept five items per visit. They’re currently accepting their own-brand jeans, denim shorts, and Trucker Jackets. Please note, they do not accept kids’ clothing and accessories or items from the DENIZEN or Signature by Levi Strauss & Co labels. Any items they can’t take back, they’ll kindly donate for you.
The amount of credit you’ll receive depends on the production year of the items, the type (jeans, shorts, or jacket), and their overall condition. A Levi’s representative will evaluate your items during your appointment and assign them a value. You’ll then receive your credit in the form of a gift card, usable in Levi’s stores, outlets, and online.
Why Trade In?
Your old jeans can still bring joy to someone else! With the chance to earn up to $30 per pair, you could be well on your way to a new pair of Levi’s. Moreover, it’s a great way to help keep clothing out of landfills, contributing to a healthier planet.
Levi’s Secondhand initiative allows you to bring in up to five pieces of Levi’s clothing into a participating store (by appointment), and in return, they’ll reward you with Levi’s gift cards. The age and condition of your items will determine their trade-in value. Here are a few examples:
- Levi’s jeans: $10 – $30
- Levi’s denim shorts: $5 – $20
- Levi’s Trucker Jackets: $10 – $30
- Levi’s 501 jeans you’ve cut off yourself: $5 – $20
